We both did not sleep very well, the night was windy and it rained a bit. It was overall kind of noisy, not from the people around us but from the sounds the wind, rain and ocean waves made ;-)
In the morning we were the first to head out after our very dry breakfast that we ate in the tent. Usually, due to the danger of bears, we never eat food in our tent. But here, there is no danger so we could eat in the comfort of our sleeping bags. The trail went mostly along the coast with nice views in between. There were a lot of stray dogs and cows (no fence) along the first part of section 2. It made us a bit uncomfortable as we didn't know if the dogs would get aggressive. But none of them were.

We passed by a tiny village. There, we filtered water from the tap of a public bathroom. The little village had a heli pad which looked very old. We weren't sure if it was still used or if it is a war relict. Further along the trail, we met quite a few locals that were probably heading to other villages to get food and groceries.
